NetBeans 6.10 Changes to NetBeans 7.0
The NetBeans team is renaming the next release, NetBeans 6.10, to NetBeans 7.0. The version change aligns NetBeans with plans for the Java platform; thus NetBeans 7.0 will provide support for JDK 7 language features and JDK 7 Beta. Learn more about this change to the NetBeans release roadmap.
New Plug-in: Confirm On Exit
"confirm.exit" is a new plug-in that solves this user pet peeve. Created by Anuradha Gunasekara, the plug-in adds the option of confirming before quitting your work. But you can also choose in the settings to "Always exit without prompt".
